General information:
The Centre for Musical Arts operates for 36 weeks in an academic year, split into three terms (please refer to our calendar)
Our fees are charged per term and not per lesson (please see our registration and fees document for more information)
Our responsibilities to you:
To provide a broad, good quality music education
We wil not cancel or reschedule lessons, except in case of staff illness *
We will start and finish all lessons on time. If a teacher informs that they will be late arriving, we in turn will let you know
If you have to cancel a lesson, for any reason, we will try to rearrange another time for you provided we are informed in advance**
We will provide written reports for all students, every academic year
Your responsibilities to us:
To arrive ready to start each lesson on time. If you think you might be late, please call to let us know.
To pay fees before lessons begin each term***
To practise at home (this is more important than the lesson)
Check our calendar and correspondence from time to time

No form of aggression by parents or students towards CMA Staff will be tolerated. Students' enrollment at CMA will be cancelled if this happens
The Registration Fee is applicable at the time of joining payable along with the term fee. This is non refundable
We are not able to offer refunds or reschedule lessons in the event of a public holiday being declared at short notice by the Government
In the even to a teacher's unexpected absence, we will endeavour to cover the lesson with a replacemtn teacher. It may not always be possible to inform every student before the lesson begins of the alternative arrangement being made
We will offer a refund for a lesson that we cancel at the end of the academic year (July) if this has not been made up by us
We are not able to carry forward lessons from one term ot another or make adjustment in the fee for lessons cancelled / missed
* The Executive Director of CMA and/or The Director of CMA will occasionally need to be away for recruitment and operational reasons. We will try to keep this to an absolute minimum during term-time
** All our teachers have a full timetable, therefor it will not always be possible to reschedule lessons. However, we will do our best to find an alternative time for you
*** A payment receipt must be presented to the teacher at the first lesson after registration or the first lesson in each term
