Augustus holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education. He has over 13 years of experience in classroom teaching as well as individual tuition in piano and voice. Previous posts include a Director of the Fun & Joy Music school in Kenya, as well as ABRSM Representative for that region. He is very familiar with the ABRSM syllabus, preparing hundreds of students for exams over the years.

As a pianist and teacher, Augustus has travelled all over the world, working in the UK, Switzerland and Italy among others. He also played with the Mombasa Diamond Jazz Band aboard the MV Royal Star Cruise Ship and has extensive choral experience, conducting choirs, organizing musical productions for schools and coaching both amateur and professional singers.

At CMA, Augustus will teach Piano and Voice. Students will benefit from a very wide knowledge of styles, from classical to pop as well as an Afro-jazz fusion style.
